Traditional and new innovative Banks, Management Consultancy Firms and Technology Vendors agreed that standing still means losing ground with respect to customers and competitors. A consensus was reached whereby Solutions may and should be adapted to the heritage, style and institutional culture of each financial institution, yet it is important that no time is wasted in making the right choice of the technology partner to reduce costs and achieve success.

Spitch’s role proved to be “beneficially disruptive”: in the Plenary session “IT and process transformation for business agility and customer centricity” Alexey Popov, CEO Spitch, talked about the peculiarities of his approach to change and operations improvement led by speech technology solutions. He explained how Spitch contributes to banking efficiency, showing the advantages delivered by the innovative methods of call processing. Alexey Popov pointed out: “Tomorrow’s winners will be enterprises who are first to market their NLP (Natural Language Processing) enabled products and services to fully unlock AI potential in customers’ opti-channel interaction automation and customer experience management. Spitch has a successful experience in the UK and Switzerland markets and is willing to project it into the Italian one”.

Disruption based on new levels of accuracy and cost-cutting made possible by the introduction of biometric and ASR features, all delivered in a tailored manner, which takes each client’s unique needs into account, was at the centre of Alexey Popov’s presentation. A strong interest was shown by Panellists and Bankers in the audience who understood the potential of this innovation for Italy, especially that it has already proved successful internationally. Spitch is ready for the challenges to ensure the Italian Banking sector enjoy the tangible benefits of ASR and NLP solutions across a range of use cases.
