Spitch is pleased to announce that the Management Team has appointed — Piergiorgio Vittori as Global Development Director.
Piergiorgio is responsible for supporting the global teams delivering marketing, business development, commercial activities, customer & relationship management, product development and solution customization together with worldwide scaling of the business, establishing local presence and managing the operations.
Piergiorgio has over 24 years of management experience in International multi-cultural technology companies. After completing his studies in Italy and an experimental Master Thesis in Electronic Engineering in Germany, in 1993 Piergiorgio started working for Ericsson in Italy, Switzerland and Sweden, initially managing a Hardware/Software integration team; later moving to roles in project and product management, business development within mobile telecommunication networks and systems.
Piergiorgio joined Loquendo in 2002, a European speech technology company, as Sales Director. In 2007 he moved to the USA to establish a local office and to continue expanding the company’s business. His contribution made it possible for Loquendo to become a global market leader.
In 2011, he joined the new company as part of the Strategic Global Alliance Team, managing global partners which the largest SIs, VARs/OEM relationships, key accounts, selling speech technologies and solutions to both international commercial and government clients.
In 2015 he joined Verbio, a European company that develops, markets and sells speech technology and solutions to global customers and partners (Artificial Intelligence, Biometrics, BOTs, IoT etc). The first 6 months in Mexico opening the market and building a local team before relocating to the USA in order to build a US market share for Verbio. Among his achievements are the first in-production natural language voice portal in Mexico along with the first on-line and off-line speech analytics system for a Government bank.

In his spare time, Piergiorgio enjoys spending time with his wife and their 7 year old son, doing outdoor activities and attending cultural events. During inclement weather, he enjoys relaxing in a real Finnish Sauna.
