Spitch has been named a “Cool Vendor” by Gartner in the “Cool Vendors in Speech and Natural Language” report, as one of only three innovative companies that provide custom-made, highly performant speech and natural language systems that move beyond what standard API and cloud offerings provide.
According to Gartner, enterprises “often underestimate the degree of localisation and customisation that natural language solutions require.” The Gartner report underlines the fact that “human speech contains much more information than simply text – often, when using two solutions for speech-to-text and conversational development, important metadata is lost”.
“We are honoured to be named a Gartner ‘Cool Vendor’ in Speech and Natural Language”, said Alexey Popov, founder and CEO of Spitch. “We deliver customer-tailored solutions and a full-fledged conversational platform with voice-to-voice natural language dialogue and special biometric features allowing to save costs and effectively improve customer experience”, Alexey added. One important recommendation made by the Gartner analysts to application leaders supporting artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives was to: “develop custom language models more rapidly and improve localisation performance by selecting a vendor solution that supports crowdsourcing workflows”. “We believe this is exactly what Spitch excels in”, said Alexey Popov.
Spitch accelerates time-to-market and makes the solution more affordable to small and medium-sized businesses. Along with these features, Spitch provides core competences such as intelligent IVR, voice analytics, development tools for bespoke speech applications, omnichannel chatbots, semantic call routing and other speech services in different languages.
We think another important recommendation made by Gartner resonates with Spitch’s strategy: “ensure you have the most performant and nuanced speech applications by using a vendor that provides both speech-to-text and conversational intent development”. To us, an award-winning Spitch project with Swisscard is a good example.
